Rituals is growing fast. From a handful of stores in the Netherlands to more than 1,500 of its own boutiques, plus a presence in over 4,500 department stores and luxury perfumeries across 33 countries. That scale places high demands on the network infrastructure: every store has to be connected at all times, every transaction has to be right, and management can never become a brake on further growth. We deliver the complete network infrastructure for Rituals worldwide. From secure connectivity in every location to real-time monitoring through our Pollux solution. On average, Rituals opens one new store a day, somewhere in the world. The infrastructure keeps up with that pace.

Rituals was founded in Amsterdam in 2000. Built on its vision of transforming everyday routines into meaningful, calming rituals, it creates body care, perfume, and home accessories inspired by ancient wellbeing rituals. All ethically produced, all sustainably packaged. That conviction has grown the brand rapidly in recent years.

Today, Rituals has more than 1,500 stores across Europe, Asia, North America, and the Middle East. On top of that, the brand sells through its own online channels, major retailers such as Ulta Beauty and Saks Fifth Avenue, and through luxury hotels and international airports. At every one of those touchpoints, the experience has to be right, and the technology that makes it possible has to be invisible.

What makes network management at this scale complex?

More than 1,500 stores in over 100 countries means more than 1,500 local networks that have to be secured, monitored, and managed. Every country has its own regulations, every store type its own requirements. A pop-up in Tokyo works differently from a flagship store in Paris, but the demands on reliability and security are the same everywhere.

Then there’s the pace of growth. Rituals opens one new store a day on average. That’s not a rollout you plan by the quarter: it’s an infrastructure that’s continuously ready to go. Every new location has to be connected quickly, secure from the start, and immediately visible in central management. Delay isn’t an option.

Rituals needed a single partner that could design, roll out, and manage the entire network. Not by region, not by supplier, but as one coherent whole. With real-time insight for their own IT team, and with the scalability to keep up with that pace day after day.

“Since our partnership began, Rituals has tripled in size, but the IT service team hasn’t. We can keep the team small, even as the company keeps growing.”

One Connectivity Fabric, from location to location

co-one has built a complete network infrastructure for Rituals based on Cisco Meraki. Every store has the same standardized setup: WiFi, switching, security, and WAN connectivity, fully tailored to the local requirements of the country in question. The rollout is designed to scale: adding a new location takes days, not months.

At the heart of it is our Pollux portal, which gives Rituals real-time insight into the status of their entire network environment. Outages are flagged the moment they happen. Management is simplified through smart automation. And thanks to our co-managed partnership, the Rituals IT team always has the full picture. As part of the partnership, we take care of the entire Connectivity Fabric, including incident management, lifecycle management, proactive updates, and monitoring.

What co-one delivers for Rituals

  • Secure Connectivity Fabric: standardized Cisco Meraki infrastructure in every location, including WiFi, switching, and SD-WAN. Scalable rollout to new locations and markets.
  • Managed Observability: real-time insight through our Pollux portal. One overview for more than 1,200 locations, with automated alerts and instant visibility for the Rituals IT team.
  • IT Automation & Unification: smart configuration management and automation that simplifies maintenance across the entire network and reduces human error.
  • Full managed service: we manage, monitor, and maintain the entire network environment.
Opening Rituals

Scalability amid fast growth

Rituals keeps growing. New stores open quickly, even in complex markets like China. The network infrastructure follows that growth, without delay, without bringing in a string of local suppliers, without losing sight of the bigger picture.

We work together with the Rituals IT team in a single portal; they have real-time insight into every location and can rely on a managed environment that always meets local compliance requirements. The store experience stays flawless, in every location, at every moment of the day.

Rituals opens around 200 stores a year, somewhere in the world. That store is connected, secured, and visible in the central overview the same day. No backlog, no exceptions. From Amsterdam to Asia: one network, one partner, one point of responsibility.
