A Domino's order starts on a phone and ends at the door. What happens in between is invisible to the customer. But behind every confirmed order, every checkout transaction, and every delivery screen sits a digital infrastructure that can't stop for a second. co-one manages the store network for Domino's Pizza across hundreds of locations in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany. Not as a vendor closing a ticket, but as a partner that understands what's at stake when the connection drops during a lunch rush. Scale fast, manage reliably, and always stay on top of it.

Domino’s Pizza is one of the fastest-growing fast-food chains in Europe. Through Domino’s Pizza Enterprises (DPE), the chain has opened new locations at a rapid pace in recent years, with the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany leading the way. The ambition is clear: order anywhere, anyhow. Ordering through the app, the website, or any other channel, with delivery that’s fast and reliable.
That ambition has a flip side. Every location is a hub of registers, payment systems, online orders, and kitchen screens. If the network falters, the kitchen stops. And if the kitchen stops, Domino’s misses its promise.
Growing without IT hitting the brakes
Opening new locations quickly sounds like a logistics challenge. It’s an IT challenge too. Every new location has to be up and running within days, not weeks. The network has to be reliable at all times, including during the busiest moments. And the security of customer and payment data, from the register to the central data environment, has to be at the same level everywhere.
One network, hundreds of locations, zero compromises
For Domino’s, we built a fully managed and monitored store network: the foundation the “OneDigital” strategy runs on. Every location is connected to a secure, stable, and centrally managed network. Registers, payment traffic, and online orders all run through the same secure environment as head office.
Reliability at all times
Business-critical data traffic, such as card payments and order processing, always takes priority on the network. In Germany, 143 locations were fitted with 4G failover: when something goes wrong, the system switches over automatically, so the kitchen never stands still. The interruptions being flagged ranged from a few minutes to an hour at most. With the failover solution in place, they disappear from the operational picture altogether.
New location? Live within days.
New locations open when Domino’s wants them to, not when the infrastructure is ready. co-one handles the connection: internationally too, and on short notice. Not because that’s exceptional, but because the standard is already in place.
“Our experience is that with other suppliers it’s hard to act quickly, especially when parties abroad are involved. We want to avoid being held back in our growth because of that.”
The infrastructure that makes growth possible
Domino’s grew to record profit growth in Europe. That growth wasn’t slowed down by IT. New locations open when Domino’s wants them to. The network scales right along with it. Security is at the same level everywhere.
